If you’re like me, you’re in the midst of last minute preparations to “clear the deck” for the holiday season.
And if you, too, are an expert at noticing what could be “just a little bit better” before and during the holidays may I suggest for all of us…taking the Gratitude Challenge…
What I keep having to learn over and over again is that more I focus on what I am grateful for in my life, the more I have to be grateful for. And there is now conclusive proof that gratefulness is the key to having more joy in our lives.
So…the Gratitude Challenge….
Do you have a Christmas tree up in your home? Or a candle or some other symbol that’s meaningful to you? This season, I (and you, if you take the Challenge) will be looking at my Christmas tree at least once a day and taking a quiet moment to reflect on something I am grateful for in my life – whether it be around family, home, work, or where I am in my life right now.
It can be so tempting to keep up with our “busy doing” that we might forget to reflect…so let’s have that symbol be our reminder of giving ourselves the gift of gratitude this season.
And please let me take this opportunity to express my gratitude to you for connecting with me here – I’ll will be in touch more through this newsletter in 2015 and I look forward to hearing back from you, too!
All my best for the season!
